Exporting Scalar Values from Graphs
If required, you can export the scalar values contained in a selected graph to a comma-separated values file (*.csv extension).
How to Export Scalar Values from a Graph
- Do one of the following:
- Click the Export Scalar Values button in the Scalar information box on the Data Properties and Settings panel.
- Right-click the required graph in the Data Properties and Settings panel and then choose Export Scalar Values in the pop-up menu.
The Choose Scalar Value Slots to Export dialog appears
- Do the following, as required:
Choose the required scalar type — Edge Scalar Values or Vertex Scalar Values — in the Scalar type drop-down menu, as shown below.

- Choose the scalar value slots you want to export in the Slots drop-down menu.

Note You can also check Select all scalar slots if you need to export all scalar value slots.
- Check the Export with coordinates option to export the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis coordinates for each vertex along with the corresponding scalar value(s).

Note This option is only available when exporting vertex scalar values.
- Click OK.
- Choose a location and file name in the Select a File to Export in CSV dialog and then click Save.
